I am still working on adding to families already in my tree. It has been a  long hard job getting most of the families together and in order. The main  reason I am unable to go back further into my early ancestor's, is the fact  that I can no longer travel to the places where I could find this information.  Some very good and nice people have helped me out in some areas and are still  doing so. If any of you members have any information on the "TATE'S" of  Sompting, Sussex, pre 1700's, I would be very pleased to hear from you. I will not be adding more photographs, I think it best to keep the family  photo's as a private collection.
 As I am new to the site, please be patient if a few mistakes show up!!!!!! I now have a few Tate families going back to the 1500's who were living in the  Midhurst area of Sussex and some moved East to the Sompting area. I have not  updated this tree yet but will do so when i have completed my  research.18/11/2007.
